We just learned that a book we designed and art directed - Asian Palate - won the International Association of Culinary Professionals Cookbook Awards (formerly known as the Julia Child awards) for best book in the Wine/Beer/Spirits category. The book was chosen out of more than 500 titles in 17 categories. It also won the 2009 Gourmand World Cookbook Award for “Best Book on Matching Food and Wine in the World” against nearly 6,000 other books from 136 countries. Congrats to the ChinaStylus / Reddog Studio 2011 Dragon Boat Team 2011... Not only did we beat more than 12 teams throughout the day, we also had the best looking crew and support boats on the water. And more importantly, we raised a whole load of money for Nepal's Moonlight Foundation. More pix to follow...
