Important information for older users

With the launch of version 2, AliveNotDead.com uses Oauth authentication to make it easier for members to stay connected and to manage their online accounts. To that end, there is no need for users to sign-up and manage an specific AliveNotDead username and password. That being said, we've tried our best to import the old site content into AliveNotDead version 2 and your old profile, posts and comments should be intact. However, if you used the site before the introduction of the Oauth support you will need to convert over to a version 2 user account.

This is a straight-forward process and need only be done once. You will need to enter your username and password underneath, and once we've verified you are who you say you are (and are human!) you then need to choose a social network provider link to. Once you've properly authenticated with AliveNotDead (using your old password) and the third-party provider, your account will be version 2 ready.

Once this process is completed, you will never need your old password anymore. If you ever need to verify your identity or login in the future, you only need to click on the provider you've linked to.
