I hate working on the school holidays - all I want to do right now is put down the code and play with the kids…alas, bills!

Those that know me well, know that I regularly remind people that the things people "obsess over" or things people claim to hate in others is (more often than not) something that person hates about themselves. (i.e. someone freaking out all the time that their partner is cheating on them; are often worried that they themselves are cheaters (or potential cheaters).

I stumbled across an article recently which delves into this phenomenon and its a fascinating read. I encourage you all to take the time and have a read.
