So I went to see the screening of Red Earth at the HKIFF the other night. My Mom has been in town so I took her along with me. She like it so much that she went up to director Clara Law with a lot of comments. In fact she had so much to say I had to drag her away because I needed to get to a friend's party. The next day Clara suggested she write about it in my blog. So here it is:

The HKIFF starts today. I blogged a little while back about the short film I did with Clara called Red Earth. It will be playing at the fest this year so try and catch it if you can. Here's the trailer for you to check out. It was done almost entirely with thousands of still photographs.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Audio Alchemy party at Yoshi's in San Francisco on Saturday. It was a great turn out and the crowd was great. I don't usually promote my work on here because I think that's kind of douche baggy to talk about work stuff here(you might have noticed already) here but Like A Dream is a project I'm really passionate about and I know it won't get much media attention because "the business people" don't know how to promote a movie that's not mainstream. So this blog will be boring for most of you out there but for those into this....I got something you might like. It's the DSLR kit from Red Rock. As most of you know cameras like the Canon 5D mkII can now shoot high quality HD video that gives you a cinema like feel. That's mostly due to the fact that you get a great depth of field because you can change lenses which normal video camera can't do.
