More Tram-mania

Even though its only been a few weeks since my last tram-related blog.  I can't resist doing another one.After checking out the Esprit Castings yesterday,  I spotted this guy while waiting for a bus back to the office:
yes, this is one of the two so-called 'Party Tram' - special customized retro HK trams you can rent out for private functions ( wikipedia link).  You see them once every week or so taking party goers up and down the line.  I've always wanted to try organizing a party on one... maybe after we land some big deal and we have more money than we know what to do with (actually renting them is not that expensive apparently). they light up at night too.In more tram related news, there was yet another 'tramjam' by our offie this week when i headed out for lunch:trams stopped end to end to end.  all the way down the block.  it was hard to cross! I used the opportunity to take a few pics of some Tram advertising:Yao Ming Tramsthis one is without any ads, the traditional forrest green color is showing.Since the economy went bad you see these a lot more, before you never used to see a blank one like this.  Iron Man tram.tags: HK tram, Hong Kong Tramways, 香港電車, tramjam, tram #128, party tram, streetcar, private hire tram, public transportation, light rail, hong kong, edison chen, bus uncle, crazy woman in the airportPhotofunnia,  5555s.com, " Fiona Xie Blog"
