2007年九月，奧斯卡最佳導演馬田史高西斯(Martin Scorsese)，與傳奇搖滾樂隊「滾石樂隊」(Rolling Stones)，合力炮製了年度最矚目的音樂紀錄片《電光滾石》。
《電光滾石》紀錄了滾石樂隊2006年秋季於紐約市著名Beacon Theater舉行的演唱會，更揭示了樂隊鮮為人知的一面。而紀錄片更由一班得獎攝影師負責拍攝，陣容鼎盛；把滾石澎湃動力盡現觀眾眼前。
