I recently had the very cool opportunity of voicing two cartoon characters- Tayo (blue bus) and Lani (yellow bus) for the Tayo and Friends live show at Marina Square! It’s running till 3rd Dec, so if you happen to be in the area you might just get to hear me having a conversation with myself ? Thankful for opportunities like this. Voice acting is so much fun! ☺️

What a film. Thanking my lucky stars for being able to catch the opening film of #sgiff2017 !!! . Nominated for Best Feature Film, Best Director (Vivian Qu, who was also the scriptwriter), and Best Leading Actress (Vicky Chen) at the 54th Golden Horse Awards, Angels Wear White was the only Chinese film to be screened in competition at the Venice International Film Festival this year, and has been called a modern noir, where three girls dealing with the aftermath of an assault realise the pervasiveness of “male-dominated bureaucracy”.

Just watched Amber’s one woman headcannon (that means a sort of origin story fanfic) STAR WARS themed show where she played Staluna Kissaryn, a struggling Jedi-in-training who finds herself targeted by Clone Troopers determined to wipe out all Jedis. It was well written, well executed, and I could totally see the parallels between Staluna’s desire to become a Jedi and my own dreams (which I’m sure are pretty similar to Amber’s). I DON’T GIVE A SLAM- Snippets of last Sat, where the finalists of the Singapore Monologue Slam performed our own self-penned original monologues as part of the Singapore Writers’ Festival, AND had to improv our own monologues with suggestions from the audience... What a blast!! I began my monologue while sitting in the audience so people around me got very bewildered. Also bonus fun-with-helium videos.
