I know. i know. i have not written anything recently. i have just gotten back from Fiji and now we are filming Fun Taiwan and doing voice overs and speeches and events until I leave again for Malaysia. busy busy busy!

Please help! Fun Taiwan/Asia is going GLOBAL and we are trying to come up with a new name for the show. Any suggestions? (ie. Around the World with Janet Hsieh. Explore the Planet with Janet. Hey world! with Janet Hsieh. etc.)

what an intersting (and sometimes strange) life i have

I am feeling very reflective today - thus explaining the, not one, but TWO blog entries today.

So, today, we were filming Fun Taiwan - Keelung. we went night fishing for squid, which was really fun. We caught about 7 squid and a few fish which we ate on the boat. i was just thinking today,

where would we BE without the internet these days.

I was chatting with a friend online, asking her some questions about an upcoming trip we're doing in India, when my internet blipped and i went offline. I wasn't sure if i had come back online, so i asked,

I know i've been really horrible about updating my blog recently.

it's 2:24am, and i just got back from filming an entire day of eating, eating and eating!

I'm working with a Singaporean production team on a food program that's going to be aired in Asia as well as the Food Network in the USA. it's very exciting and fun actually!

Ouch!

Today, I was at a coffee shop doing an interview with Cheers magazine, when a customer hit his head on the door and started to bleed!!! I hope he is doing OK. we rushed him to the ER after we controlled the bleeding on his forehead.... it was very scary and quite a loud BANG!

the strange thing was that this poor man, kept APOLOGIZING for hitting his head! I don't know why he was apologizing! It's not like he ran into me or anything. He had hurt himself on accident and then was apologizing for it... I wonder why we do that...
