I went out to Cinespace in Hollywood, my regular Tuesday night spot, to chill and have a couple drinks. Dim Mak Tuesdays have been frequently visited by huge DJ's from all around the country, including Dim Mak's very own Steve Aoki. So now that the competition was over for us, the rest of the day on Saturday was spent trying to hide and shield myself from the scorching heat of Las Vegas. Luckily, since we were helping Jtuned host their Auto Gallery, we had booths up to sit, relax, and rehydrate ourselves. With 120+ cars, models, food and drink, and a dope music set by DJ P-Sol, the event was a great success for Jtuned! See you guys at the next event!

The time has finally come. Formula D: Vegas marks the third official event in the 2009 Formula Drift Pro Series for the Kallusive/CTO Twin Turbo 350Z. Months of preparation and countless hours of work improving the car would be either justified or wasted at this event, which is known for the intense, smothering heat, fast entry speed, and unforgiving crash walls. Power 106's very own DJ Icy Ice was spotted last week in LA rockin the Sound Escape tee from Metropark during one of his gigs. The Sound Escape tee has been a favorite of DJ's all around and I know we will continue to spot this shirt in clubs everywhere for years to come!

Formula Drift Las Vegas is this weekend and we wanted to make sure our car is in perfect form for the race. Our team at City Tire has been working day and night to finish the new additions, including new decals, sponsor stickers, and some new body work (carbon fiber doors and a new spoiler)!! They finally finished last night and loaded up the car this morning and headed out for vegas. I will be joining them tomorrow for qualifying and Saturday for the big race!

Through all the traveling we have been doing lately and will be doing this summer, the one place I wish I was visiting is Hawaii. Kallusive had an awesome time in December visiting Ryan Chang and the rest of our friends from Island Fire Productions. I know they have been hosting some amazing events for us out there, but this weekend is one that I would definitely want to be out there for.
