I am now searching for female and male western talents to be on a variety show. The shoot will take 5-10 and accommodations will be all covered by the production. The talent must be able to speak a bit of chinese (does not have to be very fluent). Please contact me if you are interested and think you have what it takes to be on a variety show.
The new trailer to my film is now out. It can be viewed on my facebook group, "Creative Pictures In Motion". Enjoy everyone.

Recent discussion with fellow directors and producer (and even friends) brought me into a very interesting discussion. As my recent production is at risk of over-budgeting. Money is often raised in many of my conversations.
1) With good money, you'll get good actors... or not.
2) A smart director will never put his own money in the film... really?
3) A director must have a commercial sense in order to make good money from his projects (or
be successful).

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl2zoEEOUCg Watch this guys. This interview talks about how George Lucas became the big man that he is. I have seen similar interviews over a million times. But I just think Hong Kong filmgoers are not too familiar with this amazing filmmaker. The greatest thing that he once said was "I've became the very corporation that I have tried to avoid my ...Read more

After the a shoot it's always very relaxing, because it tells me that I have a couple days where I can sit back and watch dailies over and over again. Dailies are the stuff that we shoot on a particular day. We call it dailies because you are supposed to watch it after every shooting day. I usually give myself a bit of time in between shoots so I can afford to watch dailies over a period of time and with the convenience of non-linear editing, I can play with the clips too. I am now at the stage where I am playing around with ...Read more
You don't really have to ask me this question. But I want to hear from you. Do you think that one day indie films will be just as popular as it is in the United States. I mean how many of you will actually go to the theatre/cinema to watch an indie film if the topic of interest attracts you. Please let me know!
I am 90% done with my scene breakdown. The locations are partly confirmed, but I am still looking for a male lead. It's frustrating, I know. But sometimes finding the right people to be in your cast is something that cannot be rushed. I feel that I am trying to push myself with many answers, but then again we do have a schedule to meet. I am overall comfortable with the story. It is a lot of what I am about and what I have to say. I just hope that we can film this short in two days as I predict or else it will be OB. ...Read more
Yes, finally finished my scrīpts. Well not complete scrīpts, but at least I have now a complete skeleton of what I will be shooting. The stories comprise of some more abstract shorts and some to which may consider more simple straight forward shorts. All in all, I think most people will find it interesting, and I that is my objective. I was talking to a bunch of friends last night and I think my objective in this 30min film project will be reached. After I sort of read out some of my ideas to my friends, they ...Read more
