...2007-2008 is the YEAR OF THE WU. THE WU-TANG THAT IS!
For the last few weeks been listening to their new 8 Diagram album, they are back like Atari. I admit, that over the years they have had hits & misses. This album is definitely a HIT. The RZA's production and samples have refreshed my hip-hop palette. Also, the timing couldn't be more appropriate, I move to China and the Wu comes out with one of their best albums. I walked to work today, in a full on rain shower, playing the album and smiling.

Walking around the Bund last night, I ran into an old friend from NY, Mike Mou. He has been living in Shanghai for the past few years, and is up to big things. Be on the lookout! After our drink at the Bund Brewery. we proceeded to go to an Absolut Vodka party at 3 on the Bund. That shit was silly, felt like I was at an 8th grade dance, but we always manage to have fun. If you forgot to get your 70's retro make-up job at home, they had a few operators on board to help to take you there. At least the drinks were good!

Yesterday I had the chance to attend a fashion show at a pretty interesting place in Shanghai, it is named, Old Mill 19. If you are ever in town definitely check it out. The building was formerly a slaugherhouse for livestock, but don't be alarmed, they have done an amazing job of cleaning it up.
