Last day of class today, and we had a little "painting party" to wrap up this crazy semester. I divided up a section of Stanhope Forbes' painting into a grid, each student drew a number to be assigned to do a study of it, and in the end I pieced them together. The result just blew my mind. How much they've matured in the last few months! Not just techniques, but also their sensitivity, understanding, efficiency, and most importantly, attitude. I'm going to miss this group. @cca_illustration . . . .

Great work by my Digital Painting class students @cca_illustration! Each started with different experience levels but they've all grown so much in this semester. Proud of them!! Exhibit is up towards the end of the nave in SF campus. . . . .
Something useful I picked up from my #graphicdesign days -- using #pantone color book as reference guide for paintings. . . . .
Warming up for a #photography project this week. It's been a while. Using self as test #model. . . . .
