Bede Cheng, Programme Manager HKIFF
Bede Chengfirst worked at the HKIFF in 1998 as Festival Assistant. Before that he was working in film and television production, as Assistant Director, Line-Producer, Script Supervisor, and camera crew. He was at the Hong Kong Film Archive from 2000 – 2006 as Programme Assistant, directly involved in the organization of archival film programmes. He rejoined the HKIFF Society at the end of 2006 as Programme and Editorial Coordinator, and became Programme Manager in October 2007.
Heiward Mak, Director1984年生於香港,2003年畢業於香港理工大學設計系文憑課程,期間任職平面設計師。
2006年,首個短片及畢業作品《他.她》獲第十二屆ifva公開組金獎(2006),第九屆德國漢諾威市國際電影節國際組別青年導演獎(2007)及於第十四屆女性影展(台灣)(2007)參展。同年參與電影《大丈夫2》前期副導及編劇工作,並畢業於城市大學創意媒體學院。
2008年,執導首部長片<九降風>之香港篇《烈日當空》於香港國際電影節、台北電影節、溫哥華國際電影節、紐約及三藩市等多個電影節參展,入選韓國首爾數碼電影節競賽影片,並獲2008年度香港電影評論學會推薦電影及第三十香港金像獎新晉導演提名。
2009年,編導第二部商業電影作品《前度》,並獲邀為第三十四屆香港國際電影節閉幕電影。
目前正參與不同電影製作、編劇工作,及從事不同類型的文字創作。小說及專欄於《號外》、《香港電影》等雜誌連載中,並正籌劃多個跨媒體(文字、攝影及錄像)創作計劃。
Heiward Mak
was born in Hong Kong in 1984. She graduated from Diploma in Design Studies of
the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2003. In 2006, she co-wrote the
screenplay for
, in addition to working as the Assistant Director on the film’s
pre-production and producing its Making-of. She graduated from the City
University of Hong Kong with the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Media in
the same year. Her graduation assignment and her first short film,

graduated from the University of Southern California with a double major in Cinema-TV and Communications. Ingrid started out in print and TV commercial production in Los Angeles, before joining an animation studio as Director of Marketing & Business Affairs. Following the completion of her MBA program in Japan, Ingrid resumed her production work, eventually working for Andy Lau's production company - Focus Films - as Film Distribution Manager. Currently she is the Director of Distribution & Asian Sales at Fortissimo Films. She also works as a film critic for web radio, an independent consultant for film budgeting, distribution and production, and as a moderator at various film festivals worldwide.
