Hong Kong Young Writers Awards

We're very honoured here at Stylus HQ having just been invited to judge in the inaugural Hong Kong Young Writers Awards... And when it says young - it means like REALLY young.. Under 14 only...

Anyways, it's a first of a kind competition for aspiring young Hong Kong writers to produce a piece of writing in English (with accompanying cover artwork.. This year's content will be inspired by the theme - New Tales of the South China Sea and the contest will culminate in a published anthology, to be launched at an awards ceremony in April.

Although not necessarily known for our erudite wordsmithery, we've been asked to join the panel of judges (led by Hong Kong literary legend Nury Vitachi) to judge in the cover artwork category.
