Happy New Jear Ju Doity Rat prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

Ok. I just saw this POWERFUL movie called Woodsman, with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. The “woodsman” is the man who sliced open the wolf after the wolf ate little red riding hood. Do “woodsman” exist? Or is it just a fairy tale?

This movie made me cry. Well that doesn’t say too much cuz I’m not that tough of a guy hehe.

What’s great is it questions why we live the way we live.

SPOILER WARNING! oh and this is about pedophilia.

Watch a MV someone made and don’t be distracted by the biblical stuff.

Some of my reflections/ramblings:

-We do things in our selfishness even if we victimize others in the process. Apart of us doesn’t want to understand that we victimize others or we are so caught up in our own self sorrow that it blinds us.

-We are selective in our understanding/empathy. We feel sorrier for ourselves than anyone else because we’ve lost the connection with the world.

-Situations must be forced upon us in order to show us the destructive magnitude of the waves we have caused in an otherwise serene lake or our excuse is “there’s always ripples in the lake.”

  • what if sometimes, God’s hand (what we think of it as) never comes? Are we doomed? Can we force ourselves into understanding?

Can we truly appreciate what we have w/out the threat of losing it?

Can we stay loyal to our spouses w/out having to imagine the consequences of unfaithfulness?

Must we lose a parent before we understand what it is to have a parent?

I guess I’m too young to be able to organize all these thoughts. I don’t read much haha. I’ll just settle with “everything is everything”J

Just like we cannot be strong, unless we have weakness w/in

And how we cannot be happy unless we have sadness w/in

And how we cannot be a warrior unless we have a coward w/in

And the list is never ending.

this just reminded me of the saying “a mask shows more than a face.”

So what does that say about the nicest people? Hehe yep believe it!

You think too much... but I do understand you in a weird way? Does good or evil really exist, or is it just in the interpretation? I'll have to put "Woodsman" on my to do list right after getting a video subscription?
