Lost Prophets

So there other night a whole bunch of us went to check out Live & Loud, a great series of concerts held in HK since I don't even remember when. The sound got progressively better as the night went on. I thought most of the groups including SIMPLE PLAN, ONE REPUBLIC, LOST PROPHETS, NEW FOUND GLORY, JAMIE SCOTT were very good.

Anyhow, I decided to write this blog because in the middle of Lost Prophets set, the lead singer said to the audience, "you know, we used to own you...... and then we gave you back...... and if you don't make some noise..... we're gonna take you back !!"  I guess you was referring to HK as an ex colony of the British Empire.

I thought.....mm..... I guess you have a point. Then I thought, boy, you could do a tour of just the ex-British Colonies and say the same stupid line over and over. I would really like to see him try that in, Wales, or maybe Ireland or New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey,  and India, and Africa, Egypt, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda ,Kenya, South West Africa, South Africa all of which were colonies of the British Empire. But if he did that, they might just have to be renamed from Lost Prophets to Lost Profits....
