Josie's show at '你Jam我都Jam'

Hey guys, a few hours ago I met up with a bunch of AnD members to help pass out fliers at one of Josie's performances.  I wasn't sure how big this event was going to be, so I brought many hundreds of our new Josie flier,  turns out there were only a few hundred people there, but we made sure they all got a flier:

Total we had about 9 volunteers, plus me.  We also took up a row or two in the audience:

Josie was the first act up. They started around 1:30pm,  kind of early for a concert! :-P

Backing her were Don and Adrian from Audiotraffic, and Kevin as well.  Also Kookie on bass and Pam on keyboards.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDaz_twql4A I thought Josie sounded better here than the last set i saw her do at Ani-com.  Maybe i just liked the smaller setting, but her voice sounded better here.　今回前回より良かった音有ったと思います。。。

Especially the first two songs (I think she did four songs).  Her stage presence was good too. One annoying thing was the photographers.  They were taking pictures of some of the other bands in the front row and of Josie as well, but they kept getting their heads in the way of my shots! :-P 

Since were all were only really there for Josie and all the other performers' fans had light-up signs, we at least stood up and started cheering during her show.  at that point some of the photographers started taking pictures of us too.  I made sure my AnD cap was featured as prominently as possible!

After her set they had some of the other artists go up on stage for a group picture or something:

Since everything was in Cantonese, I didn't understand much of what was being said,  but apparently there were a LOT of fans for some guy named Colin...

Also they had these girls perform:　次は一寸面白バンド来た：

they were four quite attractive girls... looked more like models than musicians... then they played some cover of 'Imagine' by John Lennon... the first girl actually sang pretty well, but then the MC guys came up and totally f'ed it up... :-(

Josie was super nice,  after she finished doing some press she met up with the volunteer girls to chat for a bit.  She also offered to give me a ride back to Hung Hom, since I still had like 40lbs of fliers in my backpack!  (gotta save them for Tuesday night's show!)

Thanks to Josie and Christy and to all the volunteers (i am afraid to forget a few people's names so i wont name anyone!) ;-)

We'll be doing it again on Tuesday night in CWB.  I hope to see even more people there, since there will probably be more people to pass out fliers to! :-D
