'Kaiju Shakedown': blogs about the blog.

As many of you probably know,  the AP picked up Jet's blog about action films in China... some presented it accurately, and picked up on the key point that he was pretty diplomatic in his words in order to avoid seeming critical but still pointing out the difficulty he faces....   some papers spun it a bit (adding words like 'Frustration'),  and some (ehem - BBC) spun it really hard to fit their own agendas or pre-conceived conclusions...

Kaiju Shakedown, a pretty well-known Asian film blog, now officially part of 'Variety Asia Online' did this somewhat satirical entry about it:

I'm kind of tempted to go back to Jet's original blog comments to see which users he's making fun of... :-P

ps - i can't say i approve of him making fun of the suggestions of 14 year old Romanian fans,  but props to Grady for actually linking to the original blog, which the AP didn't do.
