A review for a Korean movie i watched on the plane on the way to Hawaii last month called 'The Show Must Go On:
trailer review and more stills
I had no idea what to expect from this one and was surprised to find it was a lot more of a movie than I expected.
Of course this another one of those korean movies with an identity crisis that I keep talking about...
Is it a comedy, a family drama, a crime drama, a gangster action flick or what? some how it manages to be a little bit of all of those things but ends up being a pretty powerful movie.
About a middle-aged family man who also happens to be a mid-level gangster. It showcases the less glamorous side of being involved in organized crime. I'll have to give it a 7/10.
