Korean Movie Review: Beast and the Beauty (야수와 미녀)

This Korean comedy has an interesting premise - a less than handsome (fugly) guy has a storybook romance with a beautiful girl who is blind.  Unfortunately for him she has an operation to restore her sight.    It seems she was under the impression that he was very good looking.  Hence the title ' Beast and the Beauty'.

there are some good comedic moments,  but the story is rather convoluted (when she doesn't realize that the ugly guy in front of her is actually her boyfriend he goes into hiding trying to get plastic surgery, meanwhile a much better looking guy comes in and tries to steal her away).

Entertaining with good performances but not really great.   5/10.
