"Look For a Star" (游龍戲鳳) Review

Just a quick movie review -

Last week my roomie and I went to watch "Look For a Star" ( official site), the Andrew Lau directed romantic comedy starring Andy Lau and Hsu Chi.  Andy plays a Macau casino owning billionaire, and Hsu Chi plays a baccarat dealer he falls in love with.  Denise Ho and Dominic Lam play his employees who also find love in unexpected places...  so its actually like 3 romantic comedies all at once!

Hsu Chi is still hot!  How come I never see any dealers like this when I go to Macau?

The film is almost like a commercial for Macau tourism and the MGM Grand Macao casino where it was primarily filmed.    They did a pretty good job of making Macau look nice... even the dumpy parts! ;-)

The film is a bit cheesy,  as you can expect... it goes through the typical "fall in love, break it off, realize you still love eachother at the very end" story arc...  but in this case its 3x! ;-)

I'll give it a 6/10 for what its worth.  It wasn't bad... once you get over the romantic comedy cliche stuff.
