Since I began getting involved with advertising and marketing as part of my duties at alivenotdead.com, I've started taking notice of different kinds of display advertising. HK is a global leader in some forms, especially on or in public transportation.
Last year I wrote a few blogs about the marketing that Nissan Cup Noodles did in the MTR at Admiralty Stationand also with their custom tram decorations...
well now they've got a new floor to ceiling ad all along the long corridors in Causeway Bay station:
Its some sort of scene out of a super market shelf with cartoon characters mixed in. Apparently this super market only sells Instant Ramen...
occasionally interrupted with giant pictures of these cartoon guys enjoying their Cup Noodles.
Almost makes me want to have some instant noodles... I think I'll wait til my next trip to Japan for some ICHIRAN instead though.... nothing can substitute for the real deal!
