More Mongkok Shopping

Last month I went with Phil and Ana to MK for some shopping (they were shopping for games).  I poked around the rest of the mall to see what have there.  One interesting shop:Its a store that JUST sells Trucker Hats...  next to watches and financial instruments,  Hong Kong's next biggest export is apparently trucker hats...  

The special thing about this place is they will make ONE-OFF custom trucker hats for only HK$150.  Of course the quality is not so great at that price, but you can get something basic at least.    I was thinking aboutI also found what appears to be one of the few remaining 'celeb snapshot stores.  I think these were a lot bigger in the 80s and 90s.  They basically sell prints of photos of different artists taken at PR events around town.  Some of them are quite 'hot off the presses' (like only a few days earlier), some are older.  Its funny to me, because sometimes I recognize the event from seeing people's blog entries.They have stacks of pictures roughly divided up by category (male, female, bikini girls, etc).One familiar face I saw,   Grace Huang (actually she had a bunch, she is very photogenic!)  Andy Onoh no,  too bad its blurry.  You'll have to take my word for it,  but its Vonnie Lui and Gloria Wong in nurse outfits... sorry, my hand was shakey for obvious reasons. :-P
