My God, its Full of Stars!

by the time you read this, we'll only be a few hours away from the Alivenotdead.com 1st Anniversary Party.  I'm writing this at 3am the night before.  The last week or two has been pretty hectic for Shan and I and the rest of the team.  getting a lot of details done, trying to stretch our budget as far as it will go, etc. 

but the time is upon us!

Personally the last few days have been  pretty tough,  I have been working on a project related to the party which wasn't supposed to be that much work, but it ended up being WAY a lot...  needless to say two days of almost no sleep finally caught up with me yesterday and I felt like i got the flu really bad.  I managed to stay at the office til 6pm (w/ a few naps on the couch while my computer was busy rendering).  I dropped off some files to Kim and then passed out at home for like 5 hours, got up, did more work then slept til noon today.

I'm really bummed because I missed out on the 'Shine a Light' premiere cohosted by AnD w/ Golden Scene,  all day people have been talking about how much fun it was. doh!  hopefully people didn't party themselves out for the whole weekend.

Today has been busy too,  moving stuff to the venue, getting more equipment ready, finishing our DVD we're going to play at the event...      I met up w/ the crew at Grappas in Central,  the same super-band that was playing at the shine a light show was playing again (Eugene + Jun + Adrian + Cookie),  but I could only stay for the first few minutes.  i had to run to the airport to meet a very special AnD anniversary guest. who was flying in just for the party... 

wow, I can't believe people are really flying in from Japan just for this event!

anyway,  hopefully the press will publish lots of photos from our party... cause its going to take me a few weeks to get around to doing it myself. :-P
