quick blog...

A quick blog this time...  I was at work til about 8:15 and then headed home.  I quickly dumped my stuff and headed back out to the KCR.  I had to go to Taipo Market to find my bicycle.  I locked it there almost a month ago and hadn't had a chance to go back to ride it since. 

I was 75% the cops would have removed it by now, cause i left it in a pretty busy area... but luckily it was still there and still intact (except someone ripped/cut off of my bicycle cover).  I dusted it off, put some air in the tires and rode back towards shatin...  since I didn't have a cover, I had to find an underpass that i could leave it at that was somewhat convenient to public transportation.  i ended up riding all the way to a Ma On Shan rail station and leaving it nearby...  a good 6 mile ride or so...  and it was nice and cool since it was like 10pm! :-P

Anyway,  because you can't have a blog w/o pictures... here's something randomi took notice of on friday night on my way home...   

In the subways and trains in HK they have diet program and other kinds of 'beauty aids' advertisements EVERYWHERE... 

In this case the poster one on the left is a diet program one -  they fight over price,  each trying to be lower than the other, but they always end the price with '88'...  

the one in the middle is actually for a hair removal salon or something like that.   from far away it just looks like a (body hair free) girl in a brief top and some short shorts...   

But while I was waiting for the train i noticed something odd when i looked closer:

huh?  someone painted in part of her ass cheek turquoise to try to make it look like her shorts aren't quite so short!

I guess someone felt that the shorts were a little too sexy for public consumption and someone did a last minute, rather amateur job of photoshopping it... 

but it was funny cause this advertisement is all over the place, but i never noticed it before. :-P

ok enough for now.  hawaii is in 1.5 days! :-P
