OK, i put up the event's pictures from our Shanghai trip... now here's some of 'the rest':
We took 'Shanghai Airlines' up... it wasn't too bad except the food wasn't so great...
the noodles came with this package of vegetables. I wasn't sure exactly what it was:
Oh well if its commendatoried, it must be good!
(note, after searching google, it seems like ' commendatoried' is an actual word that exists only in China! I'm guessing everyone's learning from the same bad book? Probably someone was trying to make a verb out of the adjective ' commendatory'... )
Actually after the meal they tried to serve some sort of dairy product (i think it was yogurt?) needless to say, I didn't try it! :-P
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to blog about this or not, but just in case I won't name any names... but how many of you know what this is?
Feel the Breeze!
Before Andrew's show we had a fancy dinner. Unfortunately almost all the fancy stuff was all seafood, so I didn't partake in much:
Some people apparently find this quite appetizing! :-P
Andrew doesn't look nervous at all, does he?
After the show:
Most of us stuck around after the performance to celebrate and to chat:
A few photo ops too:
Of course as with any glamorous event, lots of ladies around:
some beautiful cake enjoying ladies.... ;-)
Oh yeah, I should mention, there was a birthday cake:
ps - some drama on the way out -
whats worse than belligerent drunk people? belligerent ex-pats! whats worse than belligerent ex-pats? belligerent ex-pats who can't fight trying to fight with chinese guys who can't fight!
my personal favorite part, when the tall french guy tried to do a flying jump kick and ended up falling flat on his back on the ground. Luckily no one was hurt too badly and the Chinese guys took off in a taxi before the police showed up.
