Here's some more of my pics from the Macau trip two weeks ago. Specifically of the Venetian Casino in Cotai.
From the Bus. They were doing the grand opening of the shopping mall for the new Four Seasons Hotel next door the next day. Its hard to tell just how humongous this place is from just photos...
Waiting for check-in for the event and rooms. (also humongous)
The room they gave us was pretty frickin' nice:
このホテル部屋を無料でくれた。すごいね!
Reverse Angle. One of the fancier hotel rooms I think I've ever stayed in... (cause etchy is a budgettraveler!)
Bathroom was quite spacious...
The only thing I'd complain about was the fact that the wireless internet access was something absurdly expensive, i think like US$20 / day. I guess they really don't want you to stay in your room all day surfing the internet (when you could be downstairs gambling).
Also the windows were a bit dusty (probably from all the nearby construction), so it was hard to get a good picture out the window:
I think that's the one that Tony Leung did the commercial for... very China Gambler focused. :-P
Unfortunately for me, I had already booked my ticket for my Tokyo trip before they offered us this chance to go to Macau, so I had a flight out of HKG at 8:30am. So I had to leave Macau on the 5am ferry to make it in time... which means getting up at 4am! doh!
(but as you'll remember, things worked out well for me, I got upgraded!)
