This all came about from a conversation with Dino from Julio during a HK Live! performance earlier this year. I really wanted us to do some more professional recordings of our songs so that we could use it for promotions, possibly make an EP, etc. But, I hadn't made up my mind on exactly what we were going to do with the songs once they were finished.

At first I just wanted to use it as a demo, but now there is a possibility that we can record some more songs and make an EP. I think 6 songs would be adequate enough to make an EP. But, it is probably going to be June or July before we finish the next three songs, due to lack of funds.

It was so much fun recording these songs! The producer, Peter Gorton, was fantastic and he really made the songs sound great. And the Soler boys were always there to give us advice when needed. This was the first time that we have recorded something so professional and it was a great learning experience.

'The Masquerade' really sounds superb and has a Sci-Fi feel to it thanks to Peter. 'Man Love' is raw and has a great energy to it. And you can really feel the mood in 'Loneliness'. The songs came out better than we could have hoped for, thanks to everyone at K-town!
