FBI releases their debut EP

It's after midnight and it is habitual these past few weeks, having trouble sleeping  --so I just get on my laptop whoring the web with hopes I could generate ideas for work. A few minutes in, it occurred to me that I had a CD to review –so I popped in FBI's debut EP and honest-to-goodness, my partially lethargic state of mind jolted awake with their catchy rock tunes. Their style includes melodious riffs and vocals that cross from Linkin Park, Weezer, Incubus, Flaw and many others I cannot think off the top of my head at this ungodly hour. Those who are more familiar with this band might disagree with the choice of bands I am trying to link examples to F.B.I.'s music style but what the hey, I stand corrected.  Like I said, it was from the top of my head at an ungodly hour. Their slower tunes on the other hand, are rather funky-and-blues like. Definitely car-ride worthy and two enthusiastic thumbs up. Hong Kong indie music at its finest –so keep up the good work!
