Far EastFilm Festival. (It was the full, dark and sick uncut version – the Hong Kong version will be cut a little bit).
The movie was, as expected, awesome, and even more than that. The most surprising thing for me was the serious tone of “ Dream Home”. There are several “funny” moments due to the originality of the killings and the deviant behaviors of some characters (the scene with Phat Chan, Derek Tsang and Lawrence Chou is particularly outrageous), but it’s not a dark comedy like “ You Shoot I Shoot”. .Also invited at the Far East Film Festival for a retrospective of his work, legendary director Patrick Lung Kong (“ Teddy Girls”, “ Story of a Discharged Prisoner”) attented the “ Dream Home” screening and congratulates Pang Ho-cheung at the end of the movie.
It seems that most of the audience loved the movie, except some old ladies who went out of the theater after Josie Ho’s second murder (which was, I have to admit, quite shocking). More stuff about the 12 th Far East Film Soon.
