MEETING THE BLOOD TRAFFICK LADIES

Two months ago (on April 1st, 2010 exactly), when I was in Hong Kong, I had the chance to meet writer/director/producer Jennifer Thym (creator of the award-winning web series “ Lumina” starring Juju Chan and producer of the upcoming indie film“Jasmine”, starring Jason Tobin & Eugenia Yuan) and actress Grace Huang(recently seen in Alan Mak & Felix Chong’s “ Overheard”), who will team up together on “Blood Traffick”, an English language vampires-vs-angels action movie, planned to be shot in Louisiana (New Orleans) and Hong Kong.

Co-produced by Desmond So, “ Blood Traffick” is about a sexy female vigilante from Hong Kong named Ava (Grace Huang) whose sisters disappeared ten year earlier, and Gavin/Ghost, a has-been American cop, who spent his entire life tracking a series of missing children cases in Louisiana. Together, they seek to destroy the mysterious Axe of War, standing at the crux of a holy battle between angels and vampires.
