We spoke mostly in English during the interview but Ti Lung also spoke French a little. Also, he told me that his name was inspired by French actor Alain Delon (In Mandarin "Dí Lóng" and "Delon" sound the same). Alain Delon in René Clément's "Plein Soleil / Purple Noon" (1960)
