Angry!!! But flattered!

Yesterday afternoon had a strange phone call from a wannabe buyer, lets just say Mr. X. He was saying how he liked our clothes, our designs, the shop etc. etc.... and that he wants to buy wholesale and open a couple stores in China. Interesting....great I was thinking, then before I could answer Mr X, he then says "basically I see 2 ways we can work:

1) You sell me your clothes at wholesale

or

2) We buy and make (Fan Ban) copies!!!"

I was kinda gob smacked!!! Not wanting to be rude, I just said "hey, you want to make copies/fakes I 'm not really bothered or worried, its already been copied, I have fakes in my office but they look nothing like the real thing....and to be honest when people copy you then you have a brand!" That changed his tune, but what the F.....K!!!

Sitting here now, I still can't believe what he said!? Was caught kinda blind sided and angry that I didn't give a stronger reply!!! But then on a positive note we must be doing something right to generate this reaction and interest!
