These are a few of my favorite things....

Red Wine. And the band TOOL.

On the surface there's not an obvious link betweeen the two. Red wine is not exactly rock 'n' roll... However, some years back, TOOL's enigmatic frontman Maynard James Keenan took some time out to start a winery where he made wine that he named after his Mum (also not very rock 'n' roll)... But the whole point is that when you ARE rock 'n' roll, you really don't need to TRY to be....

Anyways, the good news is that they've made a documentary about the whole insane project - Blood Into Wine - that is released next month. It looks intelligent, twisted, funny and just a little unhinged.. Yet more of my favourite things. I can't wait....
