NAMM Show 2010

Just came back from NAMM Show 2010 and have a few pictures to share.

Here's Presonus showcasing their new sequencing software Studio One.

Apogee with their new product GIO. Pretty cool stuff, you can control the guitar effects and pedal board in Logic with this thing. Plus, you can press stop, play, record, rewind and fast forward all with your feet, free your hands up for playing.

Tried this pair of headphones by Ultrasone called Zino. It folds into the case for easy carrying and it sounded pretty nice! I might not use these in the studio but for music listening, I think I'll pick up a pair.

Daisy Rock guitars for girls. Funny how its all guys in that booth :-)

IK Multimedia's new amp plug in, Amplitube 3.

One of my favorite mixing engineer Tony Maserati was at the Waves Booth talking about his signature plug ins.

That's the You Rock Guitar, it works with Xbox and PS3 as a controller for Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but it also works as a midi controller for sequencing softwares.

I got to try the You Rock Guitar!

Ok, that about wraps up my Namm Show report.

It was less crowded this year and some manufacturers have smaller booths while some others decided not to be there at all. The general economy is still down but let's hope it will get better in 2010.
