Under The Radar 02: 君がいれば (If You're Here)

This may be the most under the radar musician in this series.  I am not sure even 1000 people would have heard this song by the time you're watching it. 

ARTIST/COMPOSER;  aozorafantasii - in Berkeley, California.  I found this singer because she sang a couple video game related songs and was really impressed with her musicianship and subscribed.  She has full voice which is natural, sincere, and unaffected.

SONG:  君がいれば (If You're Here) - Recently she posted this new song which she composed which has an incredibly fluid and appealng (and catchy) melody that matches her voice and style perfectly.  I feel like musicians will often have their "vehicle" song raises them from obscurity and that happens when the song and their talents meld perfectly and I feel that happens here. 

VIDEO:  Actually, I like it a great deal.  Yes, it's just someone singing in front of a video camera, but when I first saw it I was struck by the liveness and sense of discovery in her performance.  In reading the liner notes, I was not surprised to find out this was one of the first times she'd performed the song.  Thelonius Monk (a jazz musician) used to feel that you could only really play a tune right one time, so all of his records were improvised because once you were repeating, the magic was gone.  That's a lot of pressure for a sustainable industry, but I think musicians are aware that there is something magic in the first few times a song is played and now and then you tap back into that magic while performing.
