Online Video Contests Galore!

More and more we’re seeing all these online video contests. Lots of companies are doing it. Totally smart.

Remember that LG FAME US! contest that I was a part of? Well, you can now check it out on YouTube. Oh, and I think I forgot to blog about this, but our video won the Grand Prize! Very, very cool.

Patricio Ginelsa recently won the Grand Prize for the DirecTV Film Challenge with his short, “Digital Family.” It’s a great lil’ piece that’s very relevant to today’s world. It also reminded me of a mini doc I’d seen about my friend and his daugther: “ Chayse & Jerry.”

Then just last night, “Gochu” won KoreAm’s Drama Fo’ Yo Mama Contest. This piece definitely stood out from the others… if you haven’t seen it yet, you gotta check it out. It’s pretty ridiculous:

Now, a lot of you have prob heard of Doritos’ Crash the Superbowl Contest… well, there are thousands of entries and what seems to be a lot of money at stake. Check out this entry from Arowana Films featuring Jonathan Winbush’s skills.
