There are a lot of people who are helping out with Race's new album on a daily basis and I am very happy that so many people have come on board to support Race with this great new venture. Each of them has brought their own skill-set to the table and in their own way are helping to ensure that the music Kelvin and Race are creating to launch her solo career will be a great success! With that in mind, I wanted to introduce you all to some of the people who are getting heavily involved. Firstly I'd like to mention Jonathan Lee. This amazing chap, apart from being one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet and a very talented drummer, has also partnered with Kelvin to provide his studio ( This Music Studio) in the heart of Central for all of his major projects. If you are in any way involved with music or bands, you should definitely come down and check it out, as it's a phenomenal place (click the link in brackets above for the address). Secondly, let me introduce you to an essential member of the crew, our very own Cantonese songwriter, Chan Wing Him: This extremely talented young man has written songs for many of Hong Kong's top stars, including recently Eason Chan Yik Sun.Next in the music creation sphere is Nick, who is a true mastermind behind the keys of the piano or keyboard. As Kelvin often tells me, he has the ability to play the same melody in a multitude of different styles from Jazz to Rock and interpret emotion precisely. With just a few words to the incredibly skilled Nick, Kelvin is able to get exactly the sound he wants. After the music side of things comes other equally important factors: performance, appearance and styling. And don't think these things are in any way straightforward! Luckily Kelvin's very own wife, Jennifer Chiang, is a highly experienced and successful dancer, choreographer and image consultant. The other half of Kelvin's partnership in England, she would help him take previously unknown or less known performers and bands and turn them into huge successes or in other cases to take existing performers and help them to relaunch and create a new image for themselves. Dance and performance training are going very well and keep your eyes open for Race's upcoming new style!Behind the scenes of all this excitement around Race's new music and image, come two more people who are quietly helping to make sure all of this is a great success. Arne, who is filming, editing and directing on a daily basis, all the behind the scenes footage, interviews in Cantonese, Mandarin and English and the video diaries in Cantonese and Mandarin. And Jona (Chung Dha Lam) who is taking all of the behind the scenes still photography and helping with the filming too.A big thank you to all of you guys for your continued support. What comes out of all this hard work is bound to be something fantastic! Finally, let's not forget the two most important people of all... The beautiful and talented Race Wong: And the somewhat less beautiful, but no less talented Kelvin Avon: Keep reading and supporting. Adios till next time!
