In 2009 Alfred Hsing (邢思杰) left his career in finance to pursue his dreams. That year he qualified for the US wushu team and became the first US male wushu athlete to bring home a gold at the World Championships - taking first in straight sword.

Alfred Hsing is an actor and action choreographer who has worked with Jet Li (Sorcerer and the Snake/白蛇传说), Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustle MTV interview/功夫), and Jackie Chan (Spy Next Door premier demo/邻家特工).

Alfred Hsing is recognized for his role as the Shaolin expert on Spike TV's Deadliest Warrior. He also enjoys personal training focused on martial arts and has trained entertainment professionals in LA and Hong Kong.
