Amy Ka Man Tam, an English, Mandarin and Cantonese Actor, graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in Business Administration. 2005-2008 She finished her acting training from The Theatre Training and Research Programme (TTRP) in Singapore, received the inaugural Hong Kong Drama Scholarship from the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies. She was professionally trained in Western and Asian Theatres. The Asian Theatre include: Beijing Opera (China), Noh Theatre (Japan), Wayang Wong (Indonesia) and Kuttiyatum (India).
In 2001, she co-founded the theatre company Facial Corner, during 2001-2005, as the Marketing Director . Subsequently in 2003, she co-founded the HKUST Drama Alumni Association.
She has been involved in over 40 theatre and musical productions. In Singapore, the public performances included :Hamlet Machine (Japanese Director: Uichiro Fueda), The Divine Wind and Tears Lost in the Rain (Brazil Director: Leela Laniz), A Woman Alone (One-Act Play), Attempts on Her Life (UK Director: Phillip B. Zarrilli).
She also appeared in Singapore TV drama, commercials, corporate video and films, in English and Mandarin. She teaches drama in Singapore and in Hong Kong, including Theatre Space, Eduarts, Shakespeare for All, various companies and schools, the latest acting productions included "The Foundling" by Burnt Mango Dance Theatre; "Golden Cangue" by Perry Chiu Experimental Theatre, MakeShift Theatre Project II, 2009 Community Cultural Ambassador by Y-Space "Movement Theatre - Split" (Co-Director/Creator/Actor), "Amoebe Papa 2009" by Make Friends with Puppets, and "Hijacking the Northern Star" by Seals Players, "The Chalk Circle in China" by 7A Class.
