Birthday Weekend in Los Angeles

This weekend was better than I expected.  I had thought I would stay home but instead, my friend Elaine flew down from San Francisco to celebrate my birthday this year with me.  Some ofther friends of mine also came out and we ended up going to Buca for my birthday dinner! I'm so grateful to meet and surround myself with good friends in Los Angeles.  Sometimes, it's really hard to meet good people here but I'm glad I found a few close friends to celebrate my birthday with..

So for the weekend..we chilled by the pool at the Mondrian Hotel,picked up a few free gifts at the Pre-Emmy Gift Suites, dinner at Foxtail, drank at Santa Monica's South bar, and hit a pool party up in Beverly Hills/ Glen Park.  A satisfying  fun weekend.  Definitely a lot of fun after the exams I had.

Tonight, I finally blew out my candles and made a wish for my birthday.  This is called the Princess Birthday Cake.   Yummiest Cake EVER!   My baby found a French Bakery and  I saw this cake and really liked it.  He surprised me with the cake for my bday.  Yeah!!Strawberry frosting!  Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated my birthday..
