Digidude, Fashion and Street Fighting

What?!?! A blog not featuring any mention of photoshoots? Yes it's possible. We're actually gonna take a break this Saturday because we've all been working like mad men, and we don't want the lunatics taking over the asylum.

This week was interesting, got Counterf!t's Digidude into DMOP's J01 stores, Monday will see the full force of it all come out (11 toys per store) but here are some pictures non the less from their store in Causeway Bay, which I took today. I'll post more pics later.

Makimi just signed two new cool brands by the name of Redspective and Carrot Clothing, both are well interesting street wear brands, who boast designers such as the awesome Takashi Murakami (pop artist who did those cool white LV bags) as well as some uniquely talented designers coming out of Germany, Russia etc.  Hopefully we will find retailers soon, I really enjoy introducing new brands to the Asian market, its kinda like showing people a really cool movie or album no one has heard off before.

Other than that I've just been making music and playing video games, I got Street Fighter 4 for the 360 but I have to say its a tad bit disappointing. It occurred to me that after you get all the characters and complete the game on all modes, there really isn't that much left to do, but beat people online.

I found myself missing Marvel VS Capcom 2 on the Dreamcast (still my favorite console ever). I heard a rumor that they were gonna release it on XBOX Live Arcade which would rock hard but seeing how the license agreements Capcom had with Marvel have most likely expired, me thinks the chance is slim. So I guess its back to the Gears of War 2 and Mirror's Edge. I'll have to wait till Tekken 6 (yes, its coming out on the 360 too) in order to play a fighter that really floats my boat. That and the accouncement of Lost Planet 2 looks interesting (esspecially the online co-op mode they got goin).

Talking about fighters I did definitely enjoy CB Fresh's Wall Street Fighter 4, it's always cool when a pop culture icon crosses over with something else (even if it is the errr...exciting world of finance). A link/video below shows it.
