What?!?! A blog not featuring any mention of photoshoots? Yes it's possible. We're actually gonna take a break this Saturday because we've all been working like mad men, and we don't want the lunatics taking over the asylum.

So Saturday rolled by again, which meant Spencer, derrick and myself were shooting once more.
Our model this week was Maggie Hou (who some of you may recognize from TVB where she is an actress) and our location was the lush Where Club.
The venue had somewhat of a classic yet futuristic look about it and a very cool Buddhist alter outside which always is good for shooting.

Saterday arrived once more so the team (Spencer, Derrick and Myself) rolled out and proceeded with another shoot.
This shoot however was somewhat unique because we managed to get Jamie Linto be our model who also happens to be Miss Taiwan (and competed in the last Miss World competition). She was very cool, down to earth and a total ball to work with.
Our venue of choice was the wonderful M1NT, which of as some of you probably know is famous for its shark tank (containing no less than 6 sharks !).

So me played in Yumla the other day (both live and later Djin) and was joined by two other live musicians (roger de leon jumped on the decks later in the evening as well)
It was a pretty cool set up with 3 Macbook Pro's running Ableton live (best music software ever!), and a bunch of USB Controlers. Here are some pics :)

I shall be playin at the Hong Kong Edition of the Twitter Festival aka Hong Kong Twestival 2009 THIS THURSDAY (FEB 12th) both live (8:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and then am DJin some wicked drum n bass from (11:00 PM till 1:00 AM)
The venue is the very cool Yumla, lower Basement, 79 Wyndham St. Central, Hong Kong
Entry Fee 100 HKD plus 1 free drink (money goes to a charity focusing on water purification).

It was Saturday once more which meant it was time for the crew (Spencer, Derrick and myself) to shoot some models and food in a wicked venue.
Our location of choice was Tastings, and our model was the wonderful Cici, who sadly will leave to go back to Australia today (you shall be missed!)
Anyhow the selected venue was interesting due to the fact that it was not a club, lounge, pool hall etc but a very cool techie lookin wine tasting bar (great wine btw!) with the lighting to match.

It was Saturday and once more time to shoot with the team (Derrick, Spencer and Myself) for our coffee table book.
Our location for this shoot was Racks and our Model was the very fun and energetic Rachel.
Racks has some seriously cool lighting and the pool tables have heaps of possibilities when it comes to shooting a model around them.
I also managed to (in a move of shamless self promotion) get the model to wear a counterf!t t-shirt as part of one of her outfits.

So the team (Derrick, Spencer and myself) reunited once more to shoot for our Coffee table book project.
Our location of choice was Philia Lounge, our model was the very cool Hazel.
The colors in Philia are quite nice, and the black & white print on the wall gave some interesting depth, all of which we took full advantage off.
The final product should look quite unique.

So I was working on a track for which I was cutting up TV static, along with textures I found on some fucked up old jazz records and general found sounds when Foon Wong dropped by.
Foon, and I are both members of Counterf!t, and he actually is quite the drummer so I figured fuck it, lets upload some samples in the drum machine and give him a go on the keyboard (where he could trigger the drum sounds from).
It was his first time doing so but he didn't disappoint! Here are the results :)

So the team (Derrick, Spencer and myself) reunited once more to shoot for our Coffee table book project.
This time we also had the opportunity to shoot with not 1 but 2 models unfortunately we only got behind the scenes photos of one of the models (Jessica) because the behind the scenes camera broke halfway through the shoot. We couldn't get some behind the scenes shots of our 2nd model Melodie HOWEVER all pics will obviously be in the final product and it looks great!
