Unplugged!!

Have been unplugged lately..........tried to fix my registry........did a great job......next day tho when I booted up....everything was gone......pictures,blog,programs,videos......................ouch...have been busy trying to figure out what happen and find out what to replace.....aargh.....technology!  then discovered somewhere during security check in LA my Canon disappeared.....who's going to protect us from the TSA security??  So had to scrape some cash together for a new camera.......picked up on sale at Radio shack a Nikon S550......pretty good liked the 5x zoom, and it does have 10 megapixels and 2000ISO........but I miss my Canon..easy to use and compact.

The SF Wushu Lion Dance Team.  Vanessa had to drum as Jared our usual drummer had to work....go Vanessa!

I had to drag Vanessa out from Law School to play....she did a great job!

A good surprise was Thomas.....playing behind Vanessa.....showed up to help out....haven't seen him since he went off to college.

Lions greeting at the Hilton Hotel during the Spring Festival.

Hilton Hotel...what were you thinking?  This year the stage was riduculously small!! So small we had to perform on the floor......Jason actually fell thru a hole on the stage because it was uneven!!

After our Spring Festival Performance stopped for a moment to listen to Chinatown's favorite band........Norman great job as always.

Then it was off to eat at Hunan Homes.....to open the New Year....thanks to all SF Team Members!

Good thing cameras are not too  expensive......otherwise picture taking would have to wait!!

Speaking of things like Tech....some of my students have been asking me to make DVD's of our forms.....at least two things about that..........details and angles easy to miss even in a DVD.....another thing most people never look at them!  Grandmaster Zhou does not allow any videoing.......he told me his Japanese students tried...and found out it does not work.......Bagua moves in a circle....very hard to get the angles right...also leaves alot to interpretation...usually students get it wrong.  So best thing is to learn the form first.......get it down so you can do it continuously without thinking........then take private lessons to correct it!

Well, still got problems...every 10 seconds my laptop's DVD player kicks in as I type......so annoying......another arrgh!  Well I am going for a lunch break!! Cya!
