Few Notes

1: I was told that I made it on the front page of AnD's artist updates with my "the interns" entry. I think there's been a misunderstanding--we're not a real band. We just got together and jammed, and since everyone there was at one point or another an intern (I think I am too), I jokingly named us “The Interns”. Now the other two cats in the pictures—they can play music (they’re Brits, of course they can. Britsh people are the kings of rock and roll) and one was actually in a band not too long ago. But me? I don’t know how to play. I suck, I’m a poser.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the last few weeks (when I was desperately revisiting every hobby in an attempt to keep busy and stop my impending nervous breakdown because I had the shittiest month in years), it’s that because of the crazy number of hobbies I have and my tendency to be super passionate about things I like—I’m above average and solid in many, many things…but I’m not good at ANY single thing. It’s kinda sad actually.

I’m just writing this because I don’t want to be pretentious. I ain’t a real “official artist”, and we ain’t a band. We were just jamming…and we struggled to even play Blink 182, and if you know Blink 182, you know they’re just three chords over and over. So that’s a “DAMN” if you can’t even play that.

2: A few weeks ago I wrote this entry in which I blasted the hell out of Twitter. It was online for a few hours but I took it off at the end because it was too cynical, too venomous, too HKHONESTLY-like (lol, jk. you know i love you man).

Well you know what? I can admit when I'm wrong. Because looks like I am dead wrong about Twitter being useless and a fad. According to stories like this and this, Twitter is gonna be a revolution. I would still be skeptical if I didn't see first hand how NBA players are now using Twitters to interact with fans, how sports journalists are now scouting player's Twitters for scoops and news. Shaq's Twitter is a headline in itself.

I'm gonna write about this. I'm still hoping to get an interview with Simmons, but I gotta start chasing smaller potatoes. I dunno what I'm gonna do but I'm gonna do it.

3: Alright, I'm off to Bulldogs in LKF for Quiznight. Basically, they ask questions on pop culture and if you answer correctly you win. I don't know what you win but whatevers. I dominate at these things because, sigh, I know too much useless shit and not enough about real shit.

As for the Mutant...I spoke to him today. I've had it up to here...but he was oblivious. He is uncanny.
