Beach, boat and poker

Ah, sorry about not blogging for so long, been a little busy and been a hermit. But there's a fair bit of sorry telling to do, so lets get to it.

This last Saturday was Bob's birthday. We decided to spend the day on the beach. At first I wasn't aware of which beach was reported having the Shark's carcass getting stuck in the shark net (proves once and for all it does work) but after a couple of hours at this beach I decided to take a walk, scope the place out. Upon returning the entrance I notice a sign indicating that this beach was the beach with the shark caught in its net. Well well, guess I should be scared cause the net caught the damn shark. I'll have you know that I'm a nice brown tone right now, its like, as I was commented on Sunday on another boat trip that I looked as if I'd been tanning in a booth - I was so nice and even. I'm glad she noticed.

Sunday is another story altogether. It was my friend from high schools birthday and he planned a boat trip well in advance. I was all psyched about it, prepped for it, sleep well only to wak up 10 minutes before the boat was to set off:

Me: Dude, you're not going to believe this.

Ross: what?......no...., did you  have a fun night?

Me: Nah, i just slept in.

Slept in decoded just means yes, I did have a fun night but I won't reveal what I did and to whom. So, what was I to do? I had to get on this boat. They sailed out to Sai Kung which meant I had to get over there. And what an entrance. I highly suggest it. I hired a boat out on the Sai Kung piers and speed boat myself out there. I totally felt like Don Johnson in Miami Vice.

there's not much to tell about the boat, sun, girls in bikini's, really white dudes, and me, golden brown. I am so vain.

After I caught up with the AnD gang, turns out I missed the Hot Pot dinner with Daniel but they decided to finish off the night with Poker. It turns out that I'm not that bad of a player.

About the project, I'm still working on it. I've firmed up a couple more people. And I have started it - Kim Chan, who is now on location shooting a project was my first portrait and it looks pretty good. I'll reveal them soon. They'll also be up on my website.
