Leaving NYC tomorrow for Shanghai. It kinda feels weird that I haven't been there since December. It was starting to feel like home and then I was away for 6 months. I'm anxious to see what it's like now. 6 months isn't a long time, but in Shanghai/China, it's eons. The Expo is obviously on and so all those cool new buildings are up and open and I hear the scaffolding I left behind is finally gone. New subways open, surely new restaurants and other fun offerings as well...this ought to be good.
As for Frexh...it's already been in the works, but the speed will now have to ramp up as soon as I hit the ground. SO much to do and we are a mere 2 months away. Website to go live soon. My moving from the US to Shanghai makes this feel even more "official" as now I can get out locally and start speaking to vendors/purveyors/media folk and the like. Time to move and make it happen.
See you on the other side...
Oh, and the Shanghai International Film Festival is next week once I get there. Nearly forgot about that. How could I...looking forward to that as well. Shangers, oh how I've missed thee.
