Behind the scenes in Paris for Starwood series 'Wish Upon a Star'

This series has been an absolute blast. I mean, how can one possibly say anything bad about being paid to travel and to stay in luxurious hotels around the world? It sure as hell doesn’t happen every day, but when it does happen... well, let’s just say it’s totally awesome!

能参与此剧集的制作，感觉超棒。是一次难得的经验。能够免费到各国旅行又能住进世界所有豪华精选的酒店，还有什么好说的？如此丰厚的待遇可不是天天都有的哦！赞！

Flying Business on Cathay 国泰航空商务舱

I flew to Paris on Cathay business and the trip started with a nice dose of hospitality and a really chic Agnes B travel kit. Business class on Cathay is probably one of the best I’ve experienced because the food is really really good. Usually plane food is crap, but with business on Cathay they really serve you the good stuff, the touch of lime on your fruit, the really yummy salads & duck breasts and not to mention the kiwi juice with coconut cocktail - amazing.

乘搭国泰航空飞往巴黎，让我感觉亲切，完全被受可呵护。同时还享有由国泰航空商务舱所赠送的Agnes B小型旅行套，时尚又精致。国泰航空商务是我所经历过服务最棒的，因为它的食物确实超美味。通常飞机上的餐饮对我来说都不怎样，但对国泰航空商务舱来说，他们样样都为你设想周到，完全顾及客户服务，为你呈现最好的，最美味的美食。一点都不马虎。超正美味的沙拉和鸭胸，还有猕猴桃汁与椰子鸡尾酒，实在令人难忘。

Gay Paris 快乐的巴黎

We arrived in Paris (we meaning the director Ken & I as we were flying over together) and checked in at the Westin. The Westin is one of Starwood’s hotels. The decor and ambience is chic but elegant and traditional. The view outside the suite was nothing less than the Eiffle Tower and the beds were super comfy. The cocktails at the bar were really yummy and the waiters/ waitresses were pretty cute too so there was definitely eye candy there. I love Paris, the romance, the style. Parisians really know how to live life, they know how to appreciate their food & wine, the love so fully and passionately and they dress well because they enjoy feeling good about themselves. They take the time to live life and that’s important, in my opinion.

我们终于抵达巴黎（我们指的是导演Ken还有我），并入住巴黎旺斯姆威斯汀酒店。巴黎旺斯姆威斯汀酒店是喜达屋的酒店之一。酒店内的装饰和氛围时尚别致，传统中帶有典雅。套房外有巴黎铁塔陪伴，房内则有超级舒服的床。这种生活，羡慕吧？除了酒吧美味的鸡尾酒，其服务员都好帅，好漂亮哦！实在让我眼前一亮。我爱巴黎，我更爱她浪漫的风格。巴黎人很懂得享受，他们懂得欣赏他们的食物，美酒，如此完整的爱从满了热情，同时他们也懂得如何打扮。这都因为他们很享受自我感觉。他们懂得安排，慢慢地细细地品尝生活。这对我而言，是很重要的。

The Naked Man 裸男记

The funniest thing happened when I arrived however. I checked into my room, hung up my clothes and took out my bath essentials - the usual stuff and then I decided I’d go down to check out the hotel. So I opened my door and the first thing I see is a NAKED man (in his mid 20s) running down the corridor right at me! (my room was at the end of the corridor) He runs in zig zags covering his ‘essentials’ and says ‘sorry’ with a big grin on his face. I immediately close my door to excuse him, cracking up behind the door as I close it and I wait 3-4 mins for him to find his way out - wherever it is that he is running to. Then I open the door and a security guard was pacing outside in the corridor, he looked at me angrily as I had the biggest smile on my face as though I was hiding the naked man in my room. I walked out embarrassingly to the elevator and kept my eyes fixed on the doors as the security guard scrutinizes me from the side. I slipped right into the elevator as soon as it opens to avoid the awkward moment. And THAT was my first Parisian experience - hahahaha

最有趣的事情就发生在我到达的那一天。我进了我的房间，把衣服给挂了起来等等。。。然后便想下楼走走。怎知一把门打开，迎接我的却是一名裸男子（约20多岁左右）匆匆地由走廊向着我跑！（我的房间就在走廊的尽头）他一路跑着，一手遮住身体的重要部位，不停地说'对不起'，同时掩不住脸上的笑容。我立即将门关上，等了约3-4分钟后再开门。刚好有一名保安正在走廊外踱步，他愤怒地看着我，仿佛是我窝藏赤裸男子。我尴尬的走向电梯，直视着那扇门。电梯门一开，我以最快的脚步进入电梯以免尴尬时刻的延续。这就是我在巴黎的初体验。哈哈哈

Peter & I destinies locked? (*Contains spoilers) Peter与我，情缘锁定？（內容會透露故事情節）

So if you've seen episode 1, you will remember the scene where Peter and I are on the bridge with all the locks. For those who are wondering, this bridge and the locks actually exist, so it's not like the crew went early morning with a hundred locks and locked them to the sides. People actually believe (superstitious people, of course) that a couple will stay together forever if you go with your partner and lock your destinies together in the form of padlocks onto the side of the bridge and throw away the keys.

如果你看过第1集，你会记得Peter和我在那锁头重重的爱情桥上的那场戏。对于那些不知道的观众，这座大桥和锁头确实存在。 您可别以为是制作人员的杰作噢。人们真的相信（尤其是那些迷信的人）如果你与你的情人一同在桥上扣上你的锁头，再将锁匙丢进河里，你们将永远在一起，永不分开。

So, here we are, Peter and I, trying to figure out the digital lock that I've been given... being the gentleman that Peter is, he helps me by locking his padlock to mine. Clank - that was easy. It's all cool, except when it came time to unlock it, the combination number didn't work! So the crew laughed and hissed as I scrambled frantically to unlock it! I mean Peter is nice but we did just meet, it's a little early to be tied down in the 'relationship' wouldn't you say???!!! hahaha Luckily we managed to get it to unlock - so lucky for him hahaha no need to be stuck with me for life! :P

制作单位给了我们俩2把锁为道具，好让我们为接下来的一场戏做准备。彩排时，我们重复的把锁头扣上，在以工作人员所给的密码把锁头解开。而每一次的彩排都由风度翩翩的Peter将他的锁头扣住我的那把。直至我正式开拍的第一个镜头！无论我怎样开它，那锁头就是开不成！就这样，迷信的工作人员就笑着说你们彼此命中注定，锁定终生! 要真是这样，那就糟了。我才刚认识他吔！还好，我终于成功地把锁头给解了！

PS Who needs a marriage certificate if you have padlocks! haha

有了锁头，谁需要一纸结婚证书！哈哈哈

the French - an interesting fact So I'm sure you've heard someone say that the French are not very friendly towards tourists when visiting Paris. Well, turns out, that there's a piece of very important information that guidebooks leave out - as I was informed by the local crew while I was there. It turns out that the French are very particular about saying hi and bye. And tourists, very often, who are too embarrassed to test their French speaking skills, may not say 'Bonjour' because they are too shy. Well it turns out that the lack of a 'hi' indicates to our fellow Parisian that we think we are superior to them and that's why they may come across 'cold' back as a result. So I tested this theory and said 'bonjour' not only to every shopkeeper, house-keeping person, but to every French man/ woman that I met eyes with. And voila! people responded very warmly and open and receptive towards me. So unless you want to walk around the streets of Paris with your eyes glued to the ground. It's bonjour monsieur and bonjour mademoiselle.

法国人 — 一个有趣的事实 有人说，法国人对游客的态度并非友善。嗯，经过一番研究后，我发现其实不然。这是一项非常重要的一条信息。由当地工作人员告知，原来，法国人非常讲究。他们很注重礼仪，如打招呼，说声再见、谢谢等。很多时候，因为对语言的不巧，游客通常不好意思以法语表达，因此连声“你好”也说不出口。嗯，这一举啊，使得法国人以为我们自认地位比他们高，因此以'冷淡'的态度作为回应。有了这一理论，我便随即实行我的实验。我决定逢人就说'Bonjour'。瞧！结果反应非常热烈！每一位我所接触过的法国人都很温馨地，诚恳地与我有所互动。所以，除非你不想真正的了解法国，享受法国。千万要记得哦，Bonjour先生，Bonjour小姐。

An almost kiss - scene 1 day 1... doesn't get more exciting then meeting someone and having to find the chemistry straight away. Luckily Peter's cute... it does make it easier.

我的第1场戏 – 吻戏！（就差那么一点就吻下去啦;)）有什么比这还刺激的？！第一天拍摄就要演得很有默契，还真不容易。幸好Peter满可爱的，要喜歡他，也不會太難。。。哈哈哈

Last time I was in Paris was 2003... it hasn't lost it's spark for me.

2003年来过巴黎。。。如今重返，巴黎依然魅力未减。

April (the producer) lent me her big down coat after wards... I was frozen to the bone!!! haha

幸亏有April（导播）的大羽绒衣让我去暖。。。要不，我肯定冻僵！！哈哈
