NY/NJ/Montreal/Tokyo trip 2008 (day 1)

On October 29th 2008, I was not yet packed, and still considering cancelling or delaying my trip back to NY/NJ.  After finally making the decision to go, I stayed up all night to pack my clothes and all the gifts for friends and family.  I still had no solid schedule planned for the trip at that point, so I had no idea what to expect.  Thankfully, I do have many good friends back in the states who took great care of me when I got there.

Amazing Race: Home Edition

Just got back to HK from a 2+ week trip.  The trip worked out really really well given that I didn't even plan it at all.  Lots of stuff were planned on the fly during the trip, so it was a nice little adventure.  To end the adventure, today I almost missed my flight back at the Tokyo Narita Airport... but I'll leave the details to another blog.

I filled out a full 2Gig memory cad with 700+ pictures... some you will see in future blogs.

on the road

After spending 6 months in HK, this trip back to New York have already allow me to see friends, family and many more. 

here're some highlights I want to write down before I forget... and I hope to put up pictures to go with them soon:

-Saw a Dog sing

-Interviewed and got an offer for a new job in HK

-Spend Halloween on the streets of NY, saw some crazy costumes

-Became a tourist in NYC once again after living in the area for 20 yrs

New Gig

On the same day that Obama got a new job, I too was offered a great new opportunity.  I can't wait for this new era.

History Witnessed

Hope is alive and will lead this country to a new era.  Glad I was here to see history made.

Finding my way home and back

It's been a long long time since I was able to sit down and really write something here.  Lots of up and downs in the past few months, and I'm glad to finally be able to breath a bit.  When I flew here to HK, I had a return flight scheduled for NYC next week for Halloween gatherings with my friends and for the election.  But things have been crazy...Read more

...is abyss.  And I think I reached it this weekend with a stay at the hospital.  Hope that was the sign to switcch directions, and  I hope to go upwards from here on.
