Imagine Bono and Blondie singing duets about social injustice, love, betrayal, mental illness and murder.
During the course of 2012, Tony Cutrone lost his marriage, his house, and his full-time job. Having performed music part-time his whole life, he decided it was time to take the reins and concentrate on doing it full-time. As a multi-instrumentalist "gun for hire", Tony performed, toured and recorded with a variety of original and tribute acts; most notably, playing guitar and writing for internationally known pop group, Sonic, as well as playing bass guitar with German-based Long Island Records, alternative rock recording artist, Loudshine (asTony Wilde).
At the end of December 2014, Tony and Kendra met on Tinder. Having dabbled in musical theater in university, Kendra understood Tony's talent and convinced him to begin writing songs again. By end of January 2015, just four weeks into the relationship, Tony wrote the first song of this album, "Behind The Wired Fence" as a theme for an upcoming independent film project. The film never did get off the ground but the songwriting bug bit.
By the middle of 2016, Kendra and Tony were married and the Fight or Flight album was well on its way. Since Kendra sang background vocals on all of Tony's original songs, he decided to include her as part of the act and they became the duo, Cutrone. Over the next year the rest of the songs on this album we written, recorded and mastered. Their debut full-length album, Fight Or Flight, has finally been completed and will be released in February 2018.
All music and lyrics written by Tony Cutrone. All instruments performed by Tony Cutrone. All vocals by Kendra and Tony Cutrone. All vocals recorded at Moonraker Studios by Juno-award winning producer, Steve Major. All songs mixed and mastered by Steve Major.
